Meet Grant.
Your vision, brought to life by hand.
Born in the East End of London, Grant’s artistic roots began with classic cartoons like Tom & Jerry and Bugs Bunny, later expanding to the worlds of Batman, Spider-Man, hip-hop, graffiti and street art.
After stepping away from art for several years, Grant returned through stenciling, drawing and painting before discovering sneaker customization—and he was hooked.
For the past seven years, Grant has specialized in hand-painted custom sneakers, particularly Jordans, Air Force 1s and Dunks. His style blends pop culture, street-art influences and detailed hand-painted work, with every project providing an opportunity to push his skills further.
Today, as part of Jokers Soles, Grant works alongside Mark to turn each client’s ideas into original, one-of-a-kind wearable art.

HOW CUSTOMS WORK
How do custom sneakers work?
Share your idea, shoe size and design inspiration. We’ll develop the concept together, and you approve the design, base shoe, price and timing before production begins. Need a base pair? Ask about shoe sourcing. For complex custom sneakers or artwork on performance and basketball shoes, include the model and whether you plan to play in them or wear them casually. We’ll discuss feasibility, materials and intended use before agreeing on the project.

Custom basketball shoes & athlete-inspired designs
Looking for hand-painted artwork on basketball or performance footwear? Share the exact shoe model, material, team colors or personal theme, and whether the pair is for playing, casual wear or display. We discuss what is feasible for the shoe and intended use before accepting the project; artwork is not a promise of improved athletic performance.

What does a commission cost?
Artwork complexity, the base shoe and sourcing affect the quote. Share a budget if you have one. We agree on the total and any payment terms before work begins; the $10 refundable request deposit does not place a shoe order or book design or production.
Can I bring my own shoes?
Yes. Share the model, size and condition so we can review materials and suitability. We can also discuss sourcing a base pair.
Can you meet my event date?
Include your deadline. Availability and turnaround are confirmed individually before the project is accepted.
Can you create team or athlete customs?
Bring your colors, story, intended use and quantity. We review footwear suitability and any team or event requirements. These are independent custom artworks; no team, league or brand affiliation is implied.
What if my purchase started on eBay?
